Watch & Share : Kitten Kuroi's Millions March Project "Not Going Down"

In light of all the civil unrest, death, hate, fear, confusion and heartbreak that's tearing this planet apart, Kitten Kuroi gathered her  friends representing a variety of love languages, cultures, countries, backgrounds and ethnicities to stand up against these injustices.

Love is borderless and no matter how difficult the obstacles, we're speaking up to fight for love and the light within because we're  "NOT GOING DOWN!"

--------------------------
Lyrics:

I'm digging a hole now, down to my soul now
Chasing the light
The battle's unending, but baby I'm winning
Rejecting the night
Dirt under my nails, I feel the grit on my skin
I'm fighting to see the sun again
I wipe the sweat from my brow
But I don't throw in the towel
'Cause I'm not going down

Whoa
Not Going Down

Let the Seas and the oceans attempt to take me
watch me rise with a power, you just wait and see
with one sound of my voice
they'll crumble, I'll break free
watch me now
'cause I'm not going down

I'm digging a hole now, down to my soul now
Chasing the light
My heart remains open, though promises broken
rejecting the night
Footsteps crash to the ground, you must be used to the sound
we're marching, to turn this world around
You brought this war to my home, but I won't fight it alone
'Cause I'm not going down

Through Tears...

If you love me and accept me, please make an attempt to understand what I'm going through, as well as my people.

Please know that I love you and this is why I’m sharing this.

Prepare yourselves. Open your minds and get some EXPOSURE to other people. In my case, "Black people in America".

Please know that I'm upset, sad, angry, frustrated, confused and overall hurting deeply inside.

Please make an attempt to enlighten your loved ones about why I'm fighting to make a difference in this world, so they, too can see me as more than what's portrayed on TV and movies.

I'm a REAL human being....just like you.

Please make an attempt to understand the history and involvement of Black Americans and the wonderful things we've invented and created, so we all can live modern, healthy and longer lives.

Please read about how Black Americans have stood side by side with people of other "races" as they've battled oppression.

Please read about how non-Black Americans have stood side by side with "People of Color" as we've battled oppression.

Just because you're not always around Black people....just because I may be the ONLY one you proudly know, does not make my the PAIN in my life and the lives of others like me any less real.

So, watch this video.

Watch it all. Have an open-mind. Swallow the pill.

But, don't turn away.

This man reflects the truths, feelings and emotions of many in my position.

We're not "mad for no reason", we're not "dragging you into our drama" and we're NOT "playing the race card".

Racism is real and thriving in America today...and your silence or neutrality is KILLING us.

This is about the right of a fellow AMERICAN to exist in the world.

The right to not feel like when I cry and ache because a family member of mine is beaten, arrested, raped, blackmailed, sent to prison and/or killed unjustly....

It's not me being POLITICAL.

My right to exist is NOT POLITICAL.

This is why I march, I sing, I fight, I love, I encourage, I hope, I dream...so that one day, you will accept me for who I am.

No longer "Black American", but HUMAN.

JUST. LIKE. YOU.

Sincerely,

Kitten Kuroi
